VTS Selects EveryPoint Processing Engine for 360Capture™ App
VTS is bringing cost-effective, reliable reality capture to large scale infrastructure improvement projects

VTS - Virtual Technology Simplified, a technology and services startup, and EveryPoint have entered into a partnership to leverage Everypoint’s best in class 3D reconstruction technology in VTS’ 360Capture™ mobile app. 360Capture™ is focused on bringing cost-effective and accurate reality capture solutions to industry professionals constructing, operating, and maintaining America’s critical infrastructure. 360Capture™ is a revolutionary new way to capture and manage 3D data of important assets in infrastructure segments like telecommunications, property inspection, AEC, and utilities. The app integrates both VTS’ expertise in providing quality and reliable spatial data and EveryPoint’s 3D reconstruction engine. Combining LiDAR and photogrammetry, 360Capture™ allows users to capture 3D data using an iPhone or iPad. The data derived from 360Capture™ can be used with or without other sensors and scanning technologies, to provide complete digital twin deliverables to transform data, from a property or asset, into actionable information.
Meeting the Challenges for Data Collection
The telecommunication industry, for example, has the challenge of documenting and understanding existing equipment on over 500,000 rooftop and tower sites throughout the United States. Without this information, 5G networks cannot be engineered and deployed and a simple, rapid, cost-effective solution is required. Using VTS’ solution built on EveryPoint, field workers can collect data themselves or companies can use VTS’ expert capture crews to populate their digital twins.
