Virtual Technology Simplified (VTS) announces the launch of 360Capture ™, a data service that enables reality capture of buildings and structures, with an iPad or iPhone, to populate a digital representation (digital twin) of assets. 360Capture™ revolutionizes capture of spaces to transform data, from a property or asset, into actionable information for customers managing large scale infrastructure, like those seen in the telecommunications and utilities industries. 360Capture™ produces highly accurate reality information using cost-effective equipment while maintaining the detail and precision of traditional laser scanning devices.
Faster, More Efficient Capture of Assets
Asset heavy industries struggle to have up to date information on asset conditions and locations. 360Capture™ allows companies to capture high-quality, condition and spatial information of assets, with a reliable and cost-effective platform. Companies can choose to have their field workers capture this information or use VTS’ expert capture crews to populate their digital twins. In the telecom industry, for example, early results indicate that the time to capture remote assets will decrease by up to 85%. Costs are reduced by eliminating the need for specialized and expensive equipment and capture crews can collect more sites per day for efficiency gains.
